Hello Family:
I wanted to let all of you know that Kris & Jen are new homeowners as April 17. They have achived the American Dream -- they now have a mortgage. :-)
They bought a very nice town house in Draper directly east of the VF Factory Outlet. We're excited to have them closer to us and to Jen's family. The home is a two-story, 2200 square foot, 2 bed/2 bath town house. It is in very good shape, new paint and carpet. The homes are about 9 years old. They are adjacent to the clubhouse and pool and a large grassy common area with a playground. We moved them in on Friday and Saturday. It will be a wonderful place to bring a new baby home to.
Their new address is:
11965 Fort Draper Avenue
Draper, UT 84020
Phones are the same:
Kris: 597-8954
Jen: 598-0959
The baby is progressing well. They should know whether it will be a boy or girl next week.
Kris graduates effectively next week, but officially in July. One nagging class to take. He carries on the Barlow, Green, Wilkinson tradition of scholastic excellence. (Of course Brian and I missed the boat on the academic genes).
Ben is back home with us for now, but will be working & living out of state this summer (Indianapolis). Whitney will be working and living out of state this summer (Upstate New York). Hilly, thankfully, will not be living out of state this summer, but will be working for a doctor as a Med Assistant & life guarding. Her Senior trip will be NYC to see Wicked on Broadway and the museums, then to Palmyra, Niagra Falls and Toronoto to see the Middleton's (former Stake Pres & Mission Pres in Toronto). She's SUU bound with Whitty in August. Mallory will be home to keep Wendy & me company.
Thanks for endulging us with a quick family update. Elder & Sister Barlow, sounds like you are hitting stride. The people in Douglas are fortunate to have you. The Lord will bless them greatly because of you and through you both.
Love to all,
Kerry

Just a quick clarification on our new townhome: Sadly it is only 1370 sq feet, not 2200. We would have loved to have something that big, but didn't want to live in Eagle Mountain!
What a fun, newsy blog entry. We're so happy for Kris and Jen about their new 1370 sq ft. home. That's still nice. Our first one was 1120 sq ft., not counting the unfinished basement. We lived in the upstairs. It would be fun to see some pictures. Wow! Kris about to graduate. We're so proud of him. Kids going all over the place. How fun! Sounds like life is good. Sure do love you all. Mom
