Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Right now Utah is ahead in the Sugar Bowl game. Connie Jo and John and the kids are there to see it. Here' hoping the Utes hang in there. It was wonderful to have Kim and Brian and the whole family with us for Christmas Eve and Christmas day (and a little bit on the 26th). Happy Birthday to Steven on the 26th. We were thrilled to see Clarke and Aubrey after so long. We went caroling to the mission home on Christmas Eve. Two of the sister missionaries joined us. What a choir! Thank you, family, for all the wonderful gifts. You didn't listen to us. But the gifts are cherished - the web cam, the cd's, the letters, the flowers, the dvd. Thank you so much!

Connie Jo and John were with us late New Years Eve and part of New Years Day. We feel so spoiled - two of our families were here within one week. It was a short, but sweet visit. While here, they received the sad news that their dog was hit by a car on 86th South. The Lynch family was taking care of her, and they said everything was locked up securely. They're wondering if she got spooked with New Years Eve fireworks and jumped the fence. Mystery. The animal control called John on his cell phone. She had all her tags. Sad way to start the New Year.

We are so busy now, we don't know if we're coming or going. It's neat to be in the office, and I think eventually we'll be able to get a handle on things. We only had about 8 days of training, where most people have a month or more. We're putting in long hours.

We love you all so much. You're the greatest family in the world. God bless you!
